How do I make volume keys move cursor

Just switched from using Classic keyboard to Gboard and I can't find a setting to make the volume keys on my Android be used for moving the cursor right and left. Is there a way to do this in Gboard?

Welcome to Android Central! I'm not aware of any native way to do that. You know that you can move the cursor by swiping/dragging along the space bar, right?
