How do I move pictures from gallery to SD card on my Samsung Galaxy S3?

Using your file management app or file browsing app, copy (not move) the images from the internal storage to the SD card.
After you are happy with seeing that all the files were correctly copied to the SD card, delete the images from the internal storage.
