A friend of mine was given a Backflip by her ex as "an apology" present. Said ex is a little bit on the nutjob side, and while I haven't poked around her phone (yet), I wouldn't be too surprised if he installed something like Lookout or similar program on the phone so that he could stalk her. Ideally, once she sees how easy it is to track a phone via Lookout or similar programs, she'll want to give the phone back to the dirtbag. Which means, it needs to be scrubbed of all personal info. (Not attempting to wipe it so that a forensic scan couldn't find anything, dude's not that bright, nor could he afford to pay someone to do it for him.)
Not having futzed around with a Motorola phone (I've got an Aria), I don't know how to wipe it. Any and all tips would be most appreciated.
