How do I remove duplicate applications from folders

I was organizing my applications into folders and inadvertantly added the same application twice. Now I can't seem to remove it from the folder. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Remove both of them and add one back. Is it the exact same icon?

Nevermind, I fingered it out. If I hold my finger on the app icon long enough, a trash can appears and I can drag it there. I guess I was a bit impatient. Thanks for the response though. Much appreciated that somebody is "Johnny on the spot".
