How do I remove my gmail accounts from my Samsung Galaxy Note 3. I have lollipop 5.0 installed

Before I updated my software to Lollipop 5, I was able to delete my G-mail accounts anytime I wanted to. Now I don't see no option to remove my account(s) whatsoever. Can someone walk me through how to remove the email accounts I don't want on my phone. Thanks

I've just checked that on my LG G3, running Lollipop, and it's Settings, Accounts & Sync, Google, then tap the account name, then tap the 3-dot menu top right, then Remove Account.
Do you get these options or is it different on your device?

For most Samsungs in the new Lollipop the remove account button is no longer going to show up. So you are going to go to Apps, Settings, General, Accounts & Backup, Account, Google, the account you want to remove. Then you must actually hit your menu key, I call it the menu key some call it the option key, it's whichever key you use to bring up option list which is usually the key that resembles a paper with 2 lines on it, this will bring up Sync Now option & Remove Account option. Simply select Remove Account, a message will come up stating "Removing the account will delete messages, contacts, and all other data from the device. Continue?" you will then have a Cancel or Remove Account option, select Remove Account & your done. If it is a LG, go to Settings, General, Accounts & sync, Click the Account, hit the menu 3 dots on top right then remove account. Hope this helps you.

On a note 5 i found Two ways to do this go to settings personal. Accounts google click on the account you want deleted then you should see a menu of all the things it allows you to sync click more delete account youre done. If this does not work do this go to android settings go to personal go to back up and reset turn off backup data and auto restore. Go to Google play under the account you don't want deleted. Now Uninstaller gmail even if it's installed from factory it will let you do this. Now reinstall or it will say open i do not remember exactly. But do not select the update tab. Open gmail click thethree lines go to settings click 3 dots up in the right manage account. It will take you to android settings personal tab click accounts google then click the account you want deleted it should take you to the menu where it let's you turn off syncs up in the right click more then remove account.

You saved me from tearing up! I had a school account added onto my phone and I needed to get rid of it since it caused my Google domain to go down! Thank you so much paeyty!

This does not work for me. The menu button has been "mapped" to show all active applications. It does not show menu. And as @flgrown82 said, the the 3 dots are not there either! Help!

Just figured it out. The reason this did not work for me is because I had set up the menu button to be a "Recently Accessed Apps" button under Device-Accessibility-Vision-Switch Access. You need to disable switch access before this method mentioned by @Paeyty works.

When you select the account, press the menu button the Remove account is there, they just moved it from the main screen to the sync screen
