How do I remove the engriks virus?

I'm have the same problem but when im tryed to fight the virus its became even more powerful and now its unstoppable I'm can't do factory reset because settings crash, I'm can't uninstall anything if I try launcher crash, settings crash, antivirus crash (if im try to uninstal eith antivirus) I'm know how to remove virus. You need to update your android version because the virus come every time you reset your phone it says that there is update or its just for me. If anybody know please tell me how to update my android version.

I have tried factory data reset (automatic restore unchecked) almost 5 times in a row.... but it's not helping. "engrik" keeps coming back. I am really frustrated now. Plz let me know what else can I try. It's micromax canvas fire. Please help.

That fix is not working.

I can't even download any apps now. engriks has blocked that function also. Grrrrrrr

1)Just after your device is on, quickly switch your wifi off .
2)go to settings/apps
3)uninstall the app called "engriks" (if uninstall option is not there , force stop or disable the app).
4)go to settings/apps/all and swipe down untill you see the apps like "mobile ocr,measure,engrils,catstudio".
5)"DONT TRY TO UNINSTALL THEM " THEY MAKE AUTOMATICALLY RESTART YOUR DEVICE OR THEY WILL MAKE YOUR DEVICE STUCK"
6)Disable all the apps told above.
7)now switch on your wifi

1. root your phone with (kingRoot 4.8.X)
2.if root successfully installed in you phone open KingRoot----->Purify---->Bloatware remover then you see (Pencil Scatch, monkey test, engriks, Omapc etc.)
Warning: Don't delete system apps!

That fix is not working.

I have the very same problem. I have tried rebooting. I have tried installing antiviruses. I have rebooted 6-7times in row. The 'engriks' keeping coming. I am able to uninstall it. But it keeping coming back. Newly at addition... Netalpha was added. I don't eat ch porns or have any porn apps idk where from they come. Plz someone help me. I'm tired. Having this problem for more than an year now. Plz help.

Are you unchecking/unticking Auto Restore Apps before factory resetting?

Also, have you considered reflashing the stock firmware?
