How do I remove the google search bar from the home screen of my Samsung Galaxy Note 3, please?

I don't get the option to remove it when I touch and hold it. I also have an icon of a white circle with six small circles inside in two rows. When I click on this it takes me to another list of my apps. Can I get rid of this and just access apps from the button on the left hand side of the button at the middle bottom of the phone? Thanks.

Welcome to Android Central! On many stock user interfaces, you can't remove the Google search bar widget nor the App Drawer icon. You'd have to install an alternate launcher like Nova Launcher.

If we have Bixby we don't need the Google search bar. Nor do we need Google voice.
