AC Question

It just popped up the other day and i can't get rid of it, only move it around. phone is a huawei p10

On Huawei p smart go to settings and search 'dock'
And it comes up with navigation dock and then click it and switch it off it's been bugging me for days now

I have just resolved this issue. Go to SETTINGS then SYSTEM then SYSTEM NAVIGATION then scroll to NAVIGATION DOCK and slide to OFF.
Hope it helps. Frickin' irritating isn't it!?

Hello, I went to Apps and found AppAssist.. I wrongly hit Force Stop, then Uninstall.... It is still there... What can I do please?
Welcome.

I'm not sure that your question is related to this thread, but in any event, make sure that the app to which you refer is not a Device Administrator, which is in Settings, Security. If it is, uncheck it first if you wish to uninstall it.
To uninstall, the procedure is Clear Cache, Clear Data, Force Stop, Uninstall.
If that is not the answer, or if I've misunderstood you, let us know.

Hello, and thank you fir your reply. Perhaps I wasn't clear enough.... I had the dot icon appear on my phone, googled how to remove it and for a YouTube vid of what to do. It said to go to Settings/Apos find AppAssist and remove it. I found AppAssist but I selected Force Stop first instead of Uninstall first. Force Stop leaves the dot icon on the screen and then sele ting Uninstall removes the App but the dot icon is still on the screen, although the AppAssist app is no longer in Apps...i hope that makes sense...

I'm sorry, I did misunderstand you. I now see that your question is relevant to this thread. Are you able to try the fixes suggested by other members above, or do you not have those options?
Also, what phone?

I've been struggling to try remove this for a few hours on my Poco f3, I've read all the replies but none have helped remove it yet
Welcome to the forums. This thread started five years ago with much older Android versions. Could you post a screenshot showing your issue? Just in case, make sure that you don't have any Accessibility Shortcut enabled.

I managed to fix it. It was Quick Ball in settings that enabled itself, and i disabled it so it's fixed now.
