Android Central Question

It wont let me open my app until i double tap it...n i scroll swiping my screen, there is a green square around evety app as i scroll

That's in Settings > Accessibility. I don't remember what it's called, but go into there and turn it off. (It's not really double tapping, it's tap once to see if you tapped the right thing (if you have poor vision), then if it's right, tap it again.)

I know where accessibility settings are when the green box isn't hijacking my phone.. but today.
It made my own google assistant ignore me or disobey all of my clearly enunciated orders!
I couldn't swipe at all. Not up for the apps, not down for the settings. Swiper no swiping.
My fingers felt like they were all thumbs. (HA!)

It's calld TALKBACK! And whoever created this should be fired!!! I accidently started it hitting my volume buttons the wrong way! What a NIGHTMARE to get off!!! I have PTSD from it!!!!

Hi, welcome to AC!
Which device did you experience this horrible situation?

Welcome to Android Central! Remember that this is an Accessibility feature, and one that can be quite important for those who have visual impairment. So there is a real reason (and benefit) for this feature. Once you understand what it's for and how it works (so that you can avoid turning it on by accident, and know how to turn it off easily), it shouldn't cause any consternation.

The link I shared previously in this thread will take you to a very comprehensive help page from Google about Talkback.

Rew do I remove this green sThat e from around my app on my phone?

Press and hold the volume keys for 3 seconds.

Worked great from my phone tv remote app and fixed the tv . I had diabled adroids text reading stoped the constant read every box on screen but I still had those green borders messing up my tv on every remote and remote app. I can't thank you enough. My phone app was Android tv helper or android tv remote. Which had turned on the accessibility feature I assume. Your my buddy for life.
