How do I repair my damaged Galaxy S3?

Hi all,
My case-less samsung s3 fell from a bag off a 3 foot table onto tiled floor. I've now done a reset by holding the top volume, home and power buttons and it restarted normally with the led lights and buttons vibrating. I can even see some of the lock screen and it appears normal. However most of the screen is black or pixelated and the whole phone does not respond to touch at all, anywhere. Is there a chance of fixing this (preferably without erasing data), just replacing the screen or will I have to get a brand new replacement?
Thanks s much in advance

If you know of a reputable repair shop in your area they can most likely fix the screen without messing with the data on the phone itself.

Yes, there's a very good chance of fixing it by replacing the complete screen assembly. You can check out sources like

http://www.etradesupply.com/samsung-galaxy-s-iii-s3-gt-i9300-lcd-screen-and-digitizer-assembly.html

or Google it and see if you can find a less expensive solution.
