How do I restore contacts into my phone from my Google account

f I click on settings/accounts/google I can see that contacts have been synced, however, if I click on settings/personal/google/services/restore contacts it says "No contacts are backed up to this account.

If I go to my Google account on the web, they seem to be there, but how do I restore them?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Open your Google Contacts app and tap the profile picture at the upper right. Does it show your Google account there?

Thanks Android Central. The problem is fixed! It's my phone memory that was full. I only needed to back up most of my pictures into my SD Card and once I did that my Google account started synchronizing with my phone contacts. Thanks.
