How to root HTC E9+

Hey

Just brought the HTC E9+ and would like to root it. I have looked everywhere for any information but can't find nothing.

Any help appreciated!

1. Unlock your BootLoader fromwww.htcdev.com/bootloader
2. a. Flash the TWRP recovery (in Chinese) in fastboot download mode. Download it here: pan.baidu.com/s/1i3nGStv OR
b. Flash TWRP recovery (in English c/o An69) in fastboot download mode. Download here:https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3A...ew?usp=sharing
3. a. Install the root zip file. Download it from here: pan.baidu.com/s/1hqGPl1i OR
b. If you want the English version of root zip file, flash this instead:https://download.chainfire.eu/696/Su...erSU-v2.46.zip

Just make sure you read the thread too. Some people have not been able to get an OTA update after rooting due to the way HTC handled updates now. Make sure you can find some sort of RUU for your exact model first.
