i have checked but can't find a way to save my emails other than just leaving them where they're at.

What program are you using for your mail? Stock, Gmail, K-9, Maildroid, etc?

Well I downloaded maildroid and you can't save in there either. Wow I can't believe this.

What do you mean by save? Do you mean personal pop3 folders? Do you mean save a specific email to the SD card?

My solution is that I forward my pop3 to my gmail, where I have labels (folders) set up. I save the emails there. I also have gmail set to "not delete on server" so my emails are also left there and I can delete as I wish. I do miss the capability that blackberry had in that it would ask you if you wanted to delete on server or not.

When I receive an email (POP) from my bellsouth account, there is no option to save. There just isn't. Does anyone know why or is it just a flaw in the OS?
Doesn't anybody know what I'm talking about? When you receive an email (besides gmail or yahoo etc) there is no option to save it in a saved folder. My friends droid has a saved folder, this one does not.

Is your friend on IMAP or POP3? I think we all know what you are talking about. There is no pure POP3 client as far as I know. I plan on adding in a future release the idea of local device based folders for POP3.
