How do I save the images downloaded from email on my Galaxy S6 Edge Plus?

It shows in the outlook app that the pictures have downloaded, however they are not in my download folder, or anywhere else on my phone. Is there a setting I can change to make the photos go directly to my photos?

Hi, welcome to AC! The downloaded status only indicates that they have downloaded to the server for you to view them. You will need to click on the attachment file or long hold the attachment file or even maybe long hold picture when you are viewing it to save it to your device.
