How do I search for contacts addresses using OK Google and Google Maps?

Still not by voice, but from searching around it looks like OK Google and Google Maps won't recognise contact addresses.

I just tried it the way u said it "give me directions to (contact's name)" and it worked too... Don't say home or work unless it asks u for it

yes it does... I say ok, google take me to "my friend's name" house and it says "ok, (their address)" then start navigation on google maps.

are y'all sure it isn't a sync issue that y'all are having? are y'all using a personal gmail or a business email bc i've seen plenty of people having issues when using a business gmail account.

Tried it earlier for my dad's house and it didn't work. It gave me directions to big Daddy's grill. Tried it again using the command you gave and it worked fine. I tried again with the same command I used earlier and didn't work. It's all in the way you ask.

Oh... I've never thought of it that way... I speak to it the way I regularly talk... The words used to be playing a huge part in it not working for ppl

So ever since the google assistant came out i have been having the same problem. It is droving me nuts that something so simple isn't working. Ive tried lots of different wording and it just refuses to work anymore or try to take me to business with similar names.
