How do I see all my home screens at once?

Hi all! I have been unable able to figure out how to see all my home screens at once. I know it can be done because I've done it on accident a couple of times when I've been taking my phone in out of it's case. I have no idea what buttons I pushed to get there. I've tried to reproduce it and nothing. Holding in the home screen button doesn't work like it does on other androids. Thanks in advance for any help you can give. Last time it happened I took a screen shot, I'm including it so you'll know what I'm talking about.
Oh btw I'm running 5.1.1 & Emui 3.1

Hi. I'm using Nova so I hope this will work for you: press and hold in the middle of the current home screen, then you can be able to swipe through the rest of them.

Pinch with three fingers I have the device and figured it out.
