How do I separate more than one photo from burst capture using google photo appbon pixel 2

At one point, Google photo app allowed me to save a single photo from burst capture to album without delete all other photos in burst. Now, that option is missing. Only option available is "keep this photo only", which deletes all other photos from burst. Kinda crazy, any easy way around this? I'm using Pixel2 and Google photo updated to latest version.

I can add a single from the burst to album. The others stay intact.
