Setting a homepage in Chrome

Does anybody know how to set a homepage in Google Chrome? I cant seem to find the option to do so.

Re: Setting a homepage in Chrome

There's no such an option. Well, there is, but only for a very limited number of users. I remember reading something about that a time ago. I posted that link in this forum and I'll try to find it.

Anyway. :)

There's no such an option. The closest thing is to add an icon to your homescreen for that page and using it instead of the stock Chrome icon. To do that open Chrome, open the page that you want to set as home, tap on the three dots and select "add to homescreen".

Edit. Found the link.

This reply is a bit late in the game but there IS a way to set a default home page for Chrome mobile, but only if your Chrome version has the Home button in the browser bar. Some versions/ devices DO have it and others don’t.

To set a default Home page, go into Settings and tap “Home Page (“On” or “Off”)” and then tap on “Open this page” and you can edit the URL for the page you want set as your Home page, and then hit “Save” of course.

That's it--easy but not obvious.

Open Chrome. Access settings. Locate option named Homepage. Turn on and change URL address to what you want. Then save
