How do I set an Outlook email notification sound?

P20 Pro - I have successfully customised the sound I get when I SEND an email but can't find an option to set the sound when RECEIVE one. Is it possible?

That depends on the Outlook app you're using. (Outlook apps aren't part of Android, they're written by 3rd parties, and they're all different.)

Worst case scenario, you can turn off the sounds in the app or the notification settings for your app, then use a third-party app to generate the sounds of your choosing based on what notification appears in the bar. I use this app for that purpose:
