How do I silence Twitter audible notifications?

I am OK with seeing Twitter notifications in my notifications curtain, but the only notifications I want to HEAR are for text messages.

Via my phone I have audible notifications silenced for my email accounts, but I nevertheless am getting notification sounds for Twitter activity - and don't see any setting to silence them.

I have visited the Twitter website, and don't see a way to accomplish this there either.

Can anyone assist?

There's a section in the app settings where you can disable notifications. Just set the tone to 'none' or 'silent'.
