How do I stop getting a -24 error code when I try and install a couple of apps on the Play Store?

I have an HTC One Mini 2, and when I try installing some apps, such as Uber and Duolingo, the installation always fails, with the error message saying 'X [app] could not be installed. Try again and, if the problem persists, get help to fix it (error code: -24). It seems to be a very rare error code, I can't find anything on the internet about it.
