How do I stop my s7 from updating by force?

I can delay my software update once a day with a warning. Today I was able to delay 9 more times tomorrow 8..... I do not like that I have to update at all and now I have no choice? Really? Does anyone know how to stop this?

Yes I do have a carrier also, thank you for any help you may be able to provide

Okay. I meant a phone locked, or at least tied in some way, to a particular carrier. I don't use carrier phones - or indeed Samsungs - and am not sure whether you can continue to defer carrier updates, if that what that is, indefinitely. I'll move this to S7, where there are probably other members who will know.
