How do I stop new Wi-Fi Radar post notifications?

[AC Question]

Hi everyone, so approximately four days ago my phone started posting notifications w/ vibration for Wi-Fi radar. I never downloaded this app, and I can't find it in my apps to delete. It's separate from the regular wifi on my phone, and I haven't used it to log onto any open wifi since I don't know where this app came from. Has anyone seen this before and know how to get rid of it? I would post a picture but it doesn't look like I can. I have an unlocked HTC One M9 on Metro PCS

Go to Settings>Apps -- you don't see Wi-fi Radar listed there, even if you tap Menu>Show System?

Odd that you don't see it in your Apps menu. If you start up your Play Store app, in 'My Apps & games' is it listed there? Or if you go into your Settings >> Application manager can you find it anywhere there?

What do you get if you tap the menu icon at the upper right? Or that gift box icon?

The gift box pops up an add, and the menu icon only sends me to wifi sharing. Please see attached photos. This is the most bizarre thing I have ever had happen to my phone. Thanks for any help anyone can provide. I'm getting ready to do a factory reset and start from scratch.

It must be some unwanted "feature" thrown in with some other app you installed. What's that shield icon with a T in your status bar? If you have a 3rd party security app, this might be related.

Thank you B. Diddy! That's exactly what it was, I looked into it and TrustGo slipped that in on their most recent update. I was able to disable it on the app.
