Android Central Question

When I got my phone, before I downloaded any apps I realized the screen would keep changing its timeout settings to 30 sec, and even closing out earlier then that. I downloaded KinScreen to keep it on and set it to always keep my screen on. However my phone keeps killing the app when its in the background, seemingly at random. It sometimes leaves a notification that KinScreen is draining my battery and that it closed it off. I tried excluding it from battery optimization but it was still cutting it off. I proceeded to exclude every process I possibly could and while it's now working for a bit longer I'm still having these issues. What do I need to do to solve this?

How long does it take for the setting to go back to 30 seconds? Is it within a few minutes, or does it take a whole day to happen?

Ok, just checking to see if it might be related to an automatically scheduled restart. What you describe rules this out.
