How do I stop the "Software Update" notification from Verizon?

Hi,

I followed the steps that you had mentioned. When I go to "App Info" it doesn't allow me to un-check "Show Notification" box. It's not editable. Is there any way to make that editable. Please help, it's driving me crazy because I have been doing this for I don't even know for how long now....more than six months ..every single day, I've push that annoying button. Three buttons to make sure I don't want to install this software. Also I have to be super careful so that I don't click "install now" by mistake. PLEASE HELP!

THANK YOU!!! Finally got that stupid popup to stop. I lowered mobile data to less than what I had already used, turned off wifi and then clicked to upgrade software. After about 1 minute I got an error and popup is gone!
