How do i sync my phone and tablet

I want to sync my phone to my tablet

Sync in what way? I have (nearly) identical account setups on my phone and tablet (I have work accounts on my phone that are not on my tablet) but I have/want different apps. For the apps that are the same, the data is synced using Google services.

Not to sound flippant, but as long as both your phone and your tablet are both signed into your Google account, then most everything should be synced.

I have just been looking for the same help. I have a phone and a tablet that I want to sync. Both signed into my Google account but the contacts are not synced.

I have a motorola droid phone and a samsung galaxy tab A tablet that I want to sync. Both signed into my Google account but the contacts and calendar don't sync. Is there a setting or something that I should look for to make this happen?

Contacts that are Phone, Device or SIM contacts don't sync - they have to be Google account contacts. (See the Contacts section of Backing up an Android Device to change them.)

As for the calendar, just make sure that Calendar sync is enabled in your Google account (in Settings/Accounts).
