Android Central Question

I've purchased a 64gb micro SD card for my Samsung Galaxy 8. I inserted the card into my phone, and there is a whole pile of Android stuff on it now. I removed the card from my phone and put into my computer, so I could put some music onto the card. I am unable to transfer any data to the SD card. How do I get my music playlist from either my computer or USB to the SD card. Any help will be great Thanks....I'm lost????

When you connect the SD card to PC, there will appear a drive in Windows file explorer (enter via This Computer shortcut). The drive is usually named after the manufacture, like SanDisk or Kingston, unless you modified it. Open the drive, and then you can copy and paste your music files from computer hard drive to the SD card. Insert SD back into your phone, and the music player on your device should detect the songs, but may not be able to keep the playlists if you have created on PC.

Or you could just connect the phone with the microsd inside it to the PC. A new device will appear under My Computer, and inside will be separate drives for the device and SDcard.
