How do I transfer photos from my Canon G12 to my Samsung Tablet.

I have read some other posts but the adaptor that seems t be recommended does not connect to the port on my camera. Is my camera model perhaps out of date ? I can transfer photos to my computer quite easily.

Welcome to Android Central! I'm not sure, but you might need an OTG adapter that connects to a USB cable from the camera. There's no guarantee that this would be compatible, though.

You might consider using a microSD card inside a fullsize SD adapter for your camera. When you're done taking pictures, take out the microSD and insert it into the tablet to transfer the photos.
