How do I transfer pics from an LG 3 to computer on Lollipop?

transfer pics from lg3 to computer on lollypop

Before the lollypop upgrade I was able to plug my lg3 into my windows8 computer using the USB power cord and easily transfer files (pictures). after upgrade, computer won't recognize the fone. is it possible to roll back to kittycat so I can transfer?
