how do I transfer pictures from the galax s5 to the sd card i just inserted?

I just inserted a SD card to store pictures on. How do I transfer pictures that are already on the device to the SD card to free up space on my phone?

Welcome to Android Central! Use the My Files app, although it will probably be faster to connect the phone to your computer via USB and use Windows Explorer to drag and drop the files in question.
