Android Central Question

I was going through my apps clearing the cache for cookies and I came across something called the sticker Center it is got all my other apps underneath it and it's mobile data section. So I googled to see what it was and it's beta adware. It states there's a way to remove it but there isn't an uninstall or remove button with it in mine how do I get rid of this nonsense it's making my phone mess up and this is a brand new phone

Welcome to Android Central! Which device? Can you show us a screenshot of where you see it? http://forums.androidcentral.com/ge...ide-how-post-screenshots-android-central.html

Is this what you're talking about? https://r2.community.samsung.com/t5/Galaxy-Store-Apps-more/Sticker-Center/td-p/7394622

BTW, I see it on my Galaxy A32 5G as well. It's a system app, and not adware. Why do you think it's "making your phone mess up"?

If you also have a Samsung phone, then keep in mind that having all of these additional apps and services preinstalled on the phone by Samsung and other companies is just part of owning a Samsung phone. If you want a cleaner experience, consider getting a Pixel phone instead.

As I stated I googled it because it wasn't on my phone before and my phone has recently been messing up and when I went to close out clear out my cache I noticed this new thing sticker Center so I googled it. Google says it's adware it's beta adware this sticker Center has like like so many of my apps underneath it I can't do anything with it and as I stayed in my phone has been messing up lately it has things under it that it has no business having things under it they don't belong there where did it even come from

If I wasn't still making payments on this one maybe I consider a different phone but I'm still making payments it's brand new I've had it for just a few months

You mean that you Googled it, and some result from a website told you it's adware, right?. Google themselves would not report this as adware, unless you're saying it was an official report from Google Play Protect. If you Googled a lot of different system or preinstalled apps, there's a good chance that some result from a random website might say it's adware or malware because there are a lot of false positives as well as plain incorrect statements on the web.

What do you mean that it has "so many of my apps underneath it"? Show us a screenshot of what you mean.

It would still be helpful to know what you mean that your phone is "messing up." There are many reasons why a phone can be glitchy, and 99.999% of them are not malware.

Bear in mind that phone manufacturers can add or remove certain system apps in their system updates, so that might be why you didn't see it before. Also, it is considered a system app, so if you were looking before without that toggle on (the one that shows or hides system apps), then that might be why it seems to have suddenly appeared.

Gladly
11 12 pictures of multiple apps and things that are underneath that one sticker Center it's ridiculous I don't even understand it it's like it's a main app and it's sucking up all my information

What you're looking at is a list of all apps that are using any mobile data at all on your phone. The option you tapped on takes you to the general Application Data Usage screen for all apps; it does not have any direct relation to that StickerCenter app. I would agree that it's a bit confusing the way it looks in the menu.

EDIT: I did a little more digging, and it actually looks like that menu does specifically relate to that app. I'm not entirely sure what "Related apps included in usage" means, but my guess is that this system app is very much integrated into the system. If you'll notice, all of those apps are system apps. I don't think I see one 3rd party app in that list.

Bottom line is still this: StickerCenter is a system app that is not malware.

Vous avez raison j'ai une fenêtre qui s'ouvre sans arrêt sur mon s20+
J'ai téléchargé un anti malware qui a détecter cette appli comme malveillante je n'arrive pas à la supprimer

Welcome to Android Central! From Google Translate: "You are right I have a window that keeps popping up on my s20 + I downloaded an anti malware which detected this app as malicious I cannot delete it"

Keep in mind that antivirus apps often give false positives. Remember that they're not necessarily reporting malicious apps -- they might be reporting apps that serve up ads (which can be regarded as "unwanted", but not malicious per se).
