How do I unlock APN settings?

how do i unlcok APN settings?

I am trying to edit APN settings on my Verizon Note 3 (sm-900v) but verizon has locked the settings..i cant eve add a new one...any ideas on how to get it going?

It's the ROM. You could try rooting, installing Safestrap, then installing a different ROM. (If you want to go back to normal, you make sure the stock ROM is restored to the stock slot [or was never overwritten by a different ROM], uninstall Safestrap, uninstall any apps that need root that you may have installed and unroot. (Or there are stock 4.3, 4.4.2 and 4.4.4 ROMs at SamMobile Firmwares that you can flash with Odin to restore the phone to stock. [Careful - if it's at 4.4 you can't flash a 4.3 ROM. Once you go to 4.4, that's as far back as you can go. If Verizon released Lollipop and you updated to it, you'll have to find a stock 5 ROM at XDA.])
