How do I unlock Verizon S6 to work on AT&T?

unlocking Verizon s6 to work on Att.

I have a Verizon s6 and put my att SIM card in it, it makes calls and texts but has no mobile data? Is their a setting I can change or is their a way to unlock it? Help me with detailed instructions if possible

Welcome to Android Central! Verizon says that they don't unlock "most" phones, but they don't say which one they do lock: Device Unlocking Policy | Verizon Wireless

Try calling Verizon and asking them if the phone is locked, and if so, how to unlock it.

I also have the same problem with my Verizon S6. Have you got it figured out? This is very frustrating.

I've got same problem before. And what I need to do is only create a new Access Points Name (APN) on your device.

follow these steps:

Tap on Settings > Mobile networks.
Tap on Access Point Names.
Tap on ADD in the rop right.
Enter your new APN settings :

Name: ATT 4G
APN: phone
Proxy: proxy.mobile.att.net
Port: 80
Username: <Leave in Blank>
Password: <Leave in Blank>
Server: <Leave in Blank>
MMSC: http://mmsc.mobile.att.net
MMS proxy: proxy.mobile.att.net
MMS port: <leave in blank>
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
Authentication type: none
APN type: default
APN Protocol: IPv4
APN Roaming Protocol : IPv4
And leave rest to the Default

Press the three dots on the top right of the screen, tap on Save in order to save the APN settings.

NOTE: The created APN will show up in the APNs screen after you have saved it. To activate the APN, tap on the radio button located beside it.

Restart the phone and try browsing the Internet.
