How do I unsync my text messages from my email account?

I have an LG G3 and my texts keep showing up in my work emails....eek!

Welcome to Android Central! This may be an option related to your wireless carrier. I think Verizon has this option, and you have to go to your Verizon Wireless account on the web to change it. Look under the My Messages section, or something like it, and see if there is an option to send copies of text messages to your email address.
