How do I update the new towers

The Galaxy SIII I am using is a prepaid with Verizon and the carrier. As new cell towers are added how do I get my phone to recognize the new towers so that I get more and better reception

Your phone should connect with any new carrier facilities. There is nothing you can do to control this.
