how to use my ordinary 3g sim in a new one plus mobile

i have an ordinary 3g sim with normal plan.iam gng to buy an one plus which is an lte model.can i use the same sim card or should i make any alterations?pls somebody help me out

Welcome to AC.

You can just put the SIM into the new phone, as long as it's the same size. Whether you receive a 4G signal in a 4G phone depends on whether a 4G signal is available in your area. If not, the phone will use the 3G signal.
