I just made the scary jump from Blackberry, to iPhone to the HTC Sensation...
LOVE the phone, hate the awful battery life!

I also am not a fan of the vibrate every time I touch the keyboard... How do I turn this off?

Settings > language & keyboard > touch input settings >text input > vibrate when typing uncheck

Coming from the g1 (recharge twice a day) I actually like the battery life. Some of the ways I made it a little better is: use a CPU clocker (overclock/underclock app on rooted phone) to slightly lessen cycles when phones asleep, make autosync features sync less, dim screen when not needing it as bright and only turn WiFi/gps on when needed.

I also noticed that if you enable wifi calling, especially if you are in an area like home or office where the tmob signal is weak or sporadic, definitely helped increase battery life.
