How do uou end a call when screen is locke

[Android Central Question]

My screen goes black when I'm talking on a call. Then when I want to end the call, I need to unlock the phone. The fingerprint sensor only works about half the time, so I need to then enter my passcode. And this whole time my call is still connected. Very annoying

Welcome to Android Central! That's odd, it should happen like that. These are standard calls, and not calls using another app like WhatsApp, right?
