That's actually the quickest way to fully shut it down from running in the background. Other than that you'd have to go into settings under applications and do s force close.
Thanks. That seems a little dumb though. Should be an X to close the window/app (camera).
I just back out of it, the same way I do with most every other app.The only way I can find to close the camera is to go into the task switcher. Is there a better way to close the camera if you accidentally open it?
Why would you need to close it? you just press the back or home button, if its opened accidentally. It doesn't use any batt or resources if its running in the background and not being used.
It seems that to have it open but idle would make it easier for hackers and / or state actors to turn it on and basically spy. I shut mine down.
No, it closes the user interface, but the camera is still running. That's the same for any app. Hitting the home button brings the homescreen (the launcher) to the foreground, but leaves the app that was in the foreground running. the back button should close the app (if it's developed properly), so should Force Stopping the app.Yeah just hitting the home esentially closes it
