How do you control the percentage of effect that's applied in Gallery?

I just moved from an S7 to a Note 9. In Gallery on the S7, you could apply an effect, like "Nostalgia", for example. It would apply the effect at 100% and a slider would pop up and you could adjust the percentage of the effect applied to the picture. How do you do that on the Note 9?

It's built in the photo gallery>tap the picture and at the bottom is a pencil icon tap and adjust
