Android Central Question

When I take a screenshot a thumbnail appears on the bottom left of my screen. It drives me crazy. I have to swipe it, sometimes more than once, to get rid of it and my phone won't do anything until it's gone. I can't seem to find any way to disable it?

Hi, giving some more detail now! When I take a screenshot on my Moto g 5g plus, a thumbnail appears on the bottom left of my screen. It drives me crazy. I have to swipe it, sometimes more than once, to get rid of it and my phone won't do anything until it's gone. I can't seem to find any way to disable it? I have Android 11.

I merged your duplicate threads. Definitely register on this forum if you want to have any kind of efficient discussion, thanks!

It is the screenshot thumbnail and is part of the system. It can't be disabled.

It's the Moto g 5g plus. That's so frustrating if it can't be disabled. Is there a way to go back to an older operating system which doesn't have it?
Welcome to the forums. In Android 10 you could disable the screenshot toolkit preview in the Moto app - Moto Actions. I'm not sure if this option is still available in Android 11 though.
