How do you discover music? Do you still listen to the radio?

I don't listen to radio cos I hate ads and all the inane chatter, so just listen to my own stuff while driving.. Currently on a Pink Floyd kick....

I only listen to the radio in the car. I'll use my phone if I want music during a long drive. Spotify and YouTube is pretty good for finding new music.

I found myself barely listening to music over the last couple of years. For me it was an odd realization.. hip hop was LIFE to me for most of my existence. I think the decline in interest began when I left the music scene myself, and then I just kind of drifted away from it with 99% of hip hop becoming complete garbage IMO (sorry mumble rappers/Drake/"lil'" whomever rappers but.. yeah)

I recently made myself a promise I wouldn't ignore whatever good music I could find out there.. so now I just use Google Play music and go to "new music" and give a few artists a listen.. plus that new Nipsey Hussle is banging and I have to admit I do like some of what Cardi is putting out despite the fact she doesn't write her stuff.. that "Drip" with Migos is fire. Oh and of course that new J.Cole.. Props to Childish Gambino for putting out some real f'in art with that This America video too.. looks like things are picking up in the hip hop world.

I don't listen to much music on the radio, except sometimes in my car I'll put on my favorite local FM station KBCO. They play classic rock, new alternative music, reggae, soul, blues, etc. We have a large collection of CDs at home that we collected over the years, and we make our own mixes to listen to when we go camping.
