How do you fix a "server problem" when trying to ask your phone a question?

I used to be able to ask it anything & it would find it auto. now it's just saying the same thing. I'm using an older LG-L38C model. It's done this a time or two in the past & all I did was go offline & back online. Either by using my 3G or wireless connection.
