How do you get just your preferred app showing on the notifications bar

Complete Newbie here, as I just switched from Blackberry at work to a Galaxy S4. I downloaded the 1Weather app and a local TV station's weather app. Now, I see two temperatures on the notifications bar. How do I get it to show/use just one?

Check per app settings to disable the notifications from the app you don't want. There is probably a setting in the app.
