How do you get out of "safe mode" in Nexus 7?

The cutout on my case was just barely over the bottom of the volume button. It wasn't until I read your comment and took a good look that I saw it.

Whew! All my apps are back ~

Reboot.

If you hold down Power Off at the power menu it asks if you want to reboot into safe mode.. that's how you got there.

It doesn't ask on my nexus 7 it does it randomly.

Power off & then boot, SAFE MODE at bottom vanishes.
