How do you hide control bar in Video Player?

With the Samsung video player the bar comes up to skip forward, play/pause and skip forward. How do you make it go away? Usually I'm used to it automatically go away if I don't touch anything but it wont. I don't see anything to manually make it go away either like swiping down, double tap. Thanks

I just tap the screen to hide it. Then again, mine automatically hides itself after a brief moment.

Hmm, mine doesn't do that. Wonder if some other app or setting is interfering with it? Only way I've been able to make it go away is to rotate the screen to portrait or landscape mode and back again. Thanks, I'll have to investigate further.

I can confirm your issue. Screen tap or auto hide does not kick in like one would expect. It's annoying actually. Bug , I suspect.

Mine does this also.

I was having this prob as well. Discovered that it was under the accessibility setting. I have the Gear with FBQUICK VIEW app. When I disabled (turned off) FB app, video play returned to normal. Tap to make bar dissappear, swipe to control video brightness and vol.

This is that same Accessibility settings bug that's been around for months now. Samsung still hasn't fixed it and likely wont.

Thank you, this one solved my problem, disable FB quickview. Samsung need to do something on this.

I have the same issue. Already installed 3 updates from Samsung and it is still not fixed. I have a different application in accessibility that I don't want to turn off, because I need it. Where can we report bugs to Samsung?

This seems to be a bug with the Accessibility Services. Go to Settings/Accessibility/Services and see what services are checks. In my case I had Enhanced SMS & Caller ID checked. Yours will probably be different depending on what apps you have installed. Uncheck it and try the video player again. I've found that Tasker in the services also interferes. I'm not sure what checking these services does anyway, my Enhanced SMS & Caller ID app still works with this unchecked.

I have Voice Notify enabled in Accessibility Services and I don't want to disable it. I did test and disabled it temporarily and then Video player started to behave properly. Bug is obvious but question is: how to report it to Samsung?

Did it effect your Voice Notify when you disabled it? Funny thing is for my apps when I unchecked it in the Accessibility/Services it still worked so I'm not sure what checking it in Accessibility/Services accomplishes. Also most of those apps I have running when I'm driving and started by Tasker when it detects my car Bluetooth at a time I'm obviously not going to be watching a video so it hasn't bothered me.
