How do you keep your phone feeling fresh?

I totally understand. I usually switch to a new phone once a year, but use Nova Launcher and the TouchPal Keyboard to mix up how my phone looks. I also love to use photos that I took as wallpaper. It really does help to keep it fresh, even though I know it's just a damned phone. Ha ha.

I just updated the background / keyboard to change it up. I usually keep buying different cases. Keep changing wallpapers and launchers. Well, not launchers. And also mobile cover is so much needed for protecting phones from the outer injuries, specially the smartphones.

Well I have to add that after I moved away from the stock launcher and shifted to nova launcher, the performance has improved SO MUCH! The swiping around screens speed, app launching speed and everything else have gotten way more responsive and snappier.

I didn't think this could happen

I'm so happy I made the shift or else I would've forced myself to settle for the mediocre speeds of the stock launcher. Note that I didn't think it was mediocre before I made the shift. Now when I go back the stock launcher just feels slow and laggy.

Just my observation.

I have just purchased nova launcher prime because it was on offer for 50p. I'm not sure if I will actively use it but it's good to know it's there if I need it.

Nova launcher is awesome!! You can configure your phone in so many ways, and the icon packs that you find in the Play Store really help to make a nice change. Most of them also come with their own sets of wallpapers too which is nice. But I like The fact that you can make the icons on your home screen have no labels and move them virtually anywhere. And widgets too!! So awesome. So many choices. Who can get bored???

The first thing I do when I get a phone (or when I've reset it to factory) is to install Nova Launcher Prime and Unread Counts. I then up the icon count to 5x5 and set the dock to 6 icons.
