How do you share Swype from TBolt to another phone?

At a verizon store an employee shared his swype with me thru ADAO file manager and bluetooth. Now I want to share it with someone else but totally forgot the steps necessary to do this. Does anyone know how to do this??

you could try using the app BUMP to send the app or if your rooted, just pull the app and email it to your friend..

I am not rooted and I have seen it in the app store for free but I don't think it is the same version. The swype version I have is not an app either...thats what I dont get. Somehow he got it on my phone through ADAO file manager using our bluetooth. I am not familiar with the process he did.

I should add I have Swype version 1.60.36.8214 and i want to send it to a new Galaxy Nexxus. Now that I am thinking about it this may not even be compatible?? i am not sure. Does anyone know how to get Swype to a Galaxy Nexxus?

Your version won't update neither will mine. It's always gonna bee a beta because it isn't OEM. Swype partners with OEMs them it gets updated

Unfortunately to my knowledge the 2 are not interchangeable/compatible.

But.....

Here is a link to a modified version of Swype that was modded to work for the Galaxy Nexus......
(it's not "official" but swype said they should have a Galaxy Nexus Beta version out by the end of January)
If you can't wait you can get the modded version to work below. (I run it and it works just fine)
