When you go to the music player menu is there not an option to stop the music?

Thanks for your reply. The answer is no! There is no menu item to stop the music playing....just as there isn't with most mp3 players. Those you can just switch off, but my concern is if I cannot switch off the music on my smart watch (Huawei) then the battery will soon drain. I don't fancy powering the watch down each time - but it would stop the music playing!!!!

Ok...so i have a Fossil smartwatch, and in the main screen i swipe up and get the music player controls. i can play and pause the music playing from the loudspeaker of my watch.
Hope this is the same for all smartwatches and is a feature of Google Wear.

I think you have to Pause music. After that, swipe from left to right to close the music app.

Of course, if you want to stop, you also want to close the app to avoid battery draining. If not, just Pause the music.
