How do you switch from 4G to 3G???

I got an extended battery and I don't worry about battery life anymore. I leave everything on. Brightness on high (sometimes turn it down at night so I don't burn my retinas), 4g, gps, bluetooth, stream music and video, play games, whatever. I always make it through the day, sometimes 2 days. I didn't buy a phone with these capabilities only to have them turned off. Until battery technology is better, it's extended batteries for me ;)

I don't want the added bulk of the extended battery.

I am going to do a test this coming weekend to see how much 3G actually saves on battery life. I read in another thread that someone got 9 hours on 4G and 15 to 17 hours on 3G with comparable usage
 
Nothing works. when i try to change it to CDMA. it automatically prefer WASDMA. i tried so may times. but still it select what it wants. (Only WCDMA Preffered) help me brothers

Are you on a GSM carrier? WCDMA is a type of 3G in the GSM world... if you are on Verizon you should not be getting any connection under WCDMA.
